The United Arab Emirates has successfully delivered 980 tonnes of humanitarian aid to Gaza, utilizing 62 aid trucks filled with essential supplies. This significant effort includes food, medical supplies, and materials for shelter, aimed at assisting civilians impacted by the ongoing conflict in the region.
The aid convoy was organized through the UAE Humanitarian Aid Logistics Centre located in Al Arish, Egypt. This initiative is a part of Operation Gallant Knight 3, which began in October 2023. The operation underscores the UAE’s commitment to providing comprehensive support to those affected by the crisis, employing various transportation methods including land, air, and sea routes.
Since the inception of Operation Gallant Knight 3, the UAE has not only delivered critical supplies but has also played an active role in establishing medical facilities to aid the wounded. In addition, the operation has facilitated the evacuation of thousands of injured and critically ill patients, ensuring they receive necessary medical treatment.
